STUART
MANSFIELD

Starting
as a junior at Hampton & Sons in the 1970’s at Guildford
& Cranleigh, my career rapidly progressed. I moved on to
Arnold & Son in Dorking in the 1980’s becoming Branch
Manager, and stayed in that role when the company was
purchased by Halifax Property Services, moving to their
Reigate office as Branch Manager in the early 1990’s.
In 1994 I
returned to the Independent sector with White & Sons,
Dorking, and remained there until 1998, when I accepted an
invitation to join Lane’s Letting Services to work with my
former colleagues from Reigate Halifax Property Services
days.
For the following
7 years I thoroughly enjoyed specialising in another field of
estate agency and being part of the growth and success of
Lanes Letting Services, and I supported the company through
the acquisition by Leaders Limited over 2004/05.
Those years
have provided a strong foundation from which to build further
and it is with pleasure that I now join in partnership with my
wife, Elizabeth, to form our own independent lettings business
in the Reigate/Redhill area.

ELIZABETH

From my first
employment at RH & RW Clutton, East Grinstead, in the
1970’s, my career in residential property progressed with
Taylor & Tester, becoming the Branch Manager of their East
Grinstead office when the company was acquired by the Leeds
Building Society in the 1980’s.
I was then
delighted to return to the independent sector by joining
Howard Cundey & Company as Branch Manager of the
Bletchingley Office, Nr Redhill, and spent most of the 1990’s
developing the business, including the conception of an
associated Lettings company. At that time I was known locally
as Liz Ayles, my previous married name.
Remaining in
Surrey, then followed a period at White & Sons, Horley,
until a fortunate opportunity attracted me to work in the
Country Property sector in West Kent – which included several
very enjoyable years with Cluttons, becoming an Associate
Partner and Residential Branch Manager based at Tunbridge
Wells, overseeing the Sales and Lettings departments.
However,
I am now delighted to return to this area of Surrey to
join with Stuart in the creation of our new exciting
partnership venture.

ELIZABETH IN PARTNERSHIP
Co-oincidentally,
just as Liz was joining White & Sons, Stuart was leaving to join
Lanes Letting Services - but there was just long
enough for us to
meet! A year later we were married – a 2nd marriage for both
of us. Each with a lifetime’s career in property and each
ready for a new challenge, it has been a natural progression for us
now to join forces in our working lives as well. We are
delighted to have this exciting opportunity to work together,
combining our individual experiences gained over long careers in the
field to the advantage of our new company and our clients. We
almost don’t like to admit it – but our combined property careers
amount to over half a century of knowledge and experience!!!
